Zero-to-one AI product builds

I build the first version of your AI product. Then your team runs it without me.

Aigile Solutions is my zero-to-one build practice. I architect and build a working v1 — something your team can validate with real users — then hand it off with everything they need to run it. Fixed scope, 2–6 weeks. No retainers, no operational management.

Two ways to work with me

Scoped builds — I build it

You have a validated need and no v1. I architect the product, build a working version — functional enough to put in front of real users — and hand it off to your team with the documentation and context they need to own it from day one. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, defined handoff. When it's done, it's yours.

Advisory — you build it

Your team does the building; I guide the delivery. I bring the playbook I developed running delivery for a client paying ~$50M/year — gated stages, clear artifacts, sign-offs that keep everyone honest about what's being built and why. I advise; I don't implement, and I don't manage your operations.

What I don't do

No retainers. No ongoing operational management. No embedding in your team indefinitely. Every engagement has a defined end, and the handoff is designed so you don't need me after it.

Work

Different industries, one pattern: find the leverage point, build the thing, hand it over.

Impediment Intelligence

Wavelo (Tucows)
Award-winning AI platform, architected and engineered end-to-end

Delivery for a $50M account generated enormous operational data — every blocker, dependency, and delay — and all of it was sitting unused. I saw the opportunity: turn that record into intelligence. I architected and engineered a platform that captured, classified, and attributed every impediment, revealing exactly where time went — internally, with the client, or with their partners.

It sharpened everything it touched: recurring blockers engineered out before they resurfaced, client conversations grounded in shared evidence, delivery decisions made on data instead of memory. The CTOs of Tucows' three business units selected it as winner of the company's inaugural AI competition.

Enterprise delivery, without losing the speed

Wavelo (Tucows)
Delivery framework, extended company-wide

Every high-growth platform eventually meets enterprise expectations. I implemented and led the delivery framework that met them — five gated stages, dual sign-off, artifacts that made what, why, and how legible to anyone in the organization. Delivery for a $50M account became predictable and on time, and leadership extended the framework across the company.

Company knowledge, unsiloed

Wavelo (Tucows)
Organization-wide AI initiative

Product Manager on an organization-wide AI initiative that plugged people directly into the codebase — in plain language. Sales answering technical questions without pulling an engineer. Support diagnosing incidents at the source. Product managers seeing dependencies across systems they didn't own. An early, working answer to what AI looks like when a company's knowledge stops being siloed.

Streaming at national scale

Sportsnet (Rogers)
$6M replatform

I directed a $6M replatform of Sportsnet NOW — one streaming service delivered across every major platform: Apple TV, Samsung, Amazon, Xbox, PlayStation, the web, and inside the Sportsnet mobile app. That included absorbing NHL Live into the platform: a migration with zero tolerance for disruption, executed while the games kept playing. Vendors, engineering, design — my decisions, daily. Two national launches, plus custom features built to pull viewers deeper into the live game.

Retention and revenue, engineered

Figure 1
Health-tech

On a platform serving millions of medical professionals, I built for the two users who compound. Through user research, I led the full redesign and replatform — the direction that ultimately carried the product forward. For physicians, I built accredited CME drawn from the platform's own medical library: free, and satisfying a requirement every doctor carries every year. For the business, entirely new campaign mediums — richer formats that raised what the platform could offer, and what partners were willing to invest in. Acquired in 2024.

KURRENT

Independent build
10-stage prospecting engine, shipped in two weeks

Staffing agencies lose hours daily to manual prospecting. Kurrent replaced that with a 10-stage automated intelligence engine: it found companies actively hiring, enriched each with firmographic data, surfaced the decision-makers, and delivered everything as white-label, client-branded intelligence briefings — daily digest, PDF reports, and a full client portal for working the pipeline. The equivalent of three or four stitched-together tools, running as one system.

And it was a product, not a script: role-based views gave recruiters their morning leads — and gave the owner the picture she ran the business on: pipeline value, projected placement fees, the money still on the table.

Architected, engineered, and deployed end-to-end — in two weeks. Live in production with a paying client.

How it works

STEP 1

Scope

We define the build before anything gets built: the need, the v1 that proves it, the boundaries, and what handoff looks like. You know what you're getting, when it lands, and what it costs — before work begins.

STEP 2

Architect and build

I design the architecture and build the working version — functional software your team can put in front of real users, not a deck about what could be built. Two to six weeks, fixed scope.

STEP 3

Hand off

Your team takes ownership — with the documentation, the context, and the reasoning behind every architectural decision. The engagement ends by design, and the product doesn't need me to keep running.

Advisory engagements follow the same arc — scope, guide, exit — with your team doing the building and my playbook steering the delivery.

04

Terms

Fixed scope, fixed price

Agreed before work begins — scoped builds start at US $15,000. No surprises invoiced later.

Two to six weeks

The end date is set at the start — and the engagement is built to reach it.

Half at start, half at handoff

Simple, and it keeps both of us committed to the same finish line.

One build at a time

You get all of my attention, not a slice of it.

Handoff is the deliverable

Documentation, context, and the reasoning behind every decision transfer with the product. Your team owns it outright.

No retainers. No operational management

If you need more after handoff, we scope a new engagement — we don't drift into one.

05

If you're building something

Tell me what it is and where it stands. I read every note personally, and if it's a fit, I'll reply with a time to talk — and we'll scope it from there.
